Skin Cancer

Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in the United States.  The two most common types of skin cancer, Basal Cell and Squamous Cell Carcinoma are higly curable.  Melanoma, the third most common type of skin cancer, is more dangerous.  Melanoma, if diagnosed early can be cured. Sun exposure plays a major role in developing most skin cancers. Protection from the sun therefore, is important all year round to guard against the effects of ultra-violet light.
